Establishment of pastures on the farm Bonavista
GG Bradfield, trading as Bradfield Farming Enterprise (sole proprieter), is proposing the development of pastures for cattle farming on the farm Bonavista (Portion 9 and 12 of Farm Platterug 303) near Kinkelbos, Sundays River Valley Municipality, Eastern Cape. The project will entail the removal of up to 150 ha of indigenous vegetation, the planting of pasture and the development of fencing and water supply infrastructure. An Environmental Authorisation (EA) will be required as the proposed project includes activities listed in Government Notices (GN 324, GN 325 and GN 327) promulgated in terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations (2014), of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA), Act 107 of 1998. This Listed Activity is 15 of Listing Notice 2 (GN 325).
The FINAL Scoping Report was submitted to DEDEAT on 22 March 2022.
